DOES ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN BUY THE TYPE OF GLASS PAINT USED ON OLD REVERSE PAINTED CLOCK DOOR PANELS?

Question by John D.:
Does anyone know where I can purchase the type of glass paint used on old reverse painted clock door panels?

I am restoring two vintage Seth Thomas mantle clocks (a split column and an ogee) with reverse painted door panels. I want to touch up the damaged paint on the door panels without it looking like a patch job. If I can find the same type of paint used, I can get the affect I am after. Any recommendations would be helpfull as I can not afford a museum restorationist.

i think you will find it here. get on the phone, what you want is not that common and if they do not have it, a live person can tell you where to get it.
