Question by Reiley R:
Question about canvas board before i begin painting?
I got some “Master’s Touch” artist canvas panels from hobby lobby to make some christmas presents on, but i have only worked with paint once before in a class. i am wondering if i need to geso these boards before i use them. the only reason i ask is because on the package, it states “acrylic primed for use with all mediums”
does that mean that i do NOT have to geso it before painting?
i really would like these to turn out nice!

Question by John D.:
Does anyone know where I can purchase the type of glass paint used on old reverse painted clock door panels?
I am restoring two vintage Seth Thomas mantle clocks (a split column and an ogee) with reverse painted door panels. I want to touch up the damaged paint on the door panels without it looking like a patch job. If I can find the same type of paint used, I can get the affect I am after. Any recommendations would be helpfull as I can not afford a museum restorationist.

Whats wrong with the latitude D530 laptop?
Whats wrong with this latitude D530 laptop. The panel where the touch pad is, is extra sensitive. If i tap the panel all kinds of characters start typing or menus or dialog boxes will pop up. What could this be. Tapping on the panel above where the battery is located under. You cant type anything without something extra typing continously.

Question by Dorothea B:
How do I disable a touch pad in a notebook?
I am a proud possessor of a Fujitsu- Siemens notebook. Would like to disable my notebook’s touch pad. I have checked in Control Panel – Mouse – Settings, but the touch pad is not even mentioned there as an installed piece of hardware. There is no switch, that I could use to disable it. Everybody states I can disable it in Control Panel, but it’s just plain untrue. Help me, please. It’s a difficult question, I know, but try, please.
Unfortunately none of the methods described in your answers work on my computer. I first tried to press all the F(x) buttons and then I looked through the Control Panel, where I found totally nothing that can refer to a touch pad. What else could I do? Is there any hope for me to disable that damn touch pad? Please…

Question by Corbet P:
Can anyone offer any information on using an lcd panel?
I have an lcd panel (Hitachi sp14q006-zza) lcd touch screen. Can anyone offer any thoughts as to how to use this. The panel is just the basic panel with connecting wires, it has the tape style wiring for the touch matrix and another controlling tape for the screen and two other wires that i assume are for power( red and white separate from the other wires). I just want to be able to use the screen to display a picture right now. Any help?
New to yahoo do not know how to do it properly but in response to his answer. Would it be easier to connect to a RCA type video source?

Question by ken:
Bthrm fan in vaulted ceiling began making loud vibrating sounds.Moved ceiling panel, still vibrates.Any suggest?
…ions as to how to stop the fan from vibrating? Is such unwanted oscillation typically the result of the fan itself or of the fashion in which the fan is fastened to the ceiling?
The fan lies between two ceiling rafters. The fan itself does not touch the rafters but is suspended by two thin, flat, metal supports that weave through two slots that are located on each side of the fan. The beams themselves are each fastened to the centers of two parallel rafters.
Any ideas or advice on how to stop the excessive vibration?
Thanks very much to all who help me.
